Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles to transport goods across Orlando and surrounding areas
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and documentation for compliance tracking
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety standards are met
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize routes and delivery timelines
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate heavy machinery
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and fleet management systems
- Strong time management skills for independent route execution
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and early mornings as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
