Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain a box truck for local/regional freight deliveries
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate route documentation
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient load planning and time management
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage paperwork including delivery confirmations and mileage logs
- Uphold company safety protocols and defensive driving standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Reliable late-model box truck (26ft max) in good mechanical condition
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time-management skills with punctual delivery history
- Proficiency using GPS navigation and digital dispatch apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
