Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain box truck equipment for local/regional deliveries
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
- Manage all documentation including bills of lading, delivery confirmations, and mileage logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team to adjust schedules based on client demands
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional service
- Track operational expenses and maintain accurate financial records
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial auto liability insurance ($1M+)
- Relatively owned box truck (26ft+ capacity) in good working condition
- Strong knowledge of Arizona road networks and delivery zones
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for routine maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds for loading/unloading duties
- Smartphone with reliable data access for dispatch communications
