Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to designated locations within Boston and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet daily time targets
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues in real-time
- Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or delivery background
- Ability to operate vehicles up to 10,000 GVWR and navigate Boston's urban terrain
- Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by company policy
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking and communication
