Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to local destinations using company vehicles
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS technology to meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and problem resolution
- Ensure all deliveries comply with local traffic regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience with commercial vehicle familiarity
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Strong time management and organizational skills for route optimization
- Basic proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team coordination
- Reliable transportation to/from starting point (company vehicle provided for routes)
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
