Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and goods to residential and commercial locations throughout Colorado Springs
- Optimize delivery routes using provided GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and package handling
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile app in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to navigate Colorado Springs efficiently and knowledge of local geography
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Smartphone proficiency with ability to use delivery tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to/from assigned depot
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
