Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and supplies to residential and commercial locations within Mesa and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our mobile tracking system and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and maximize fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service with professional communication and problem-solving skills
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and update ETAs
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent commercial driving background
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Mesa metropolitan area and surrounding communities
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot for shift start times
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by company policy
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
