Responsibilities
- Perform safe and efficient delivery of packages and documents to residential and commercial clients in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
- Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate proof of delivery is filed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance while representing MetroSwift.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Handle customer inquiries with a positive and solution-oriented attitude.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and proof-of-delivery apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
