Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans on local delivery routes within the Portland area.
- Load and unload freight using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Accurately complete electronic logging device (ELD) logs and delivery paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service during stops and handle any customer inquiries professionally.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all company policies and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Card (DOT Physical) is mandatory.
- Clean driving abstract (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
