Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (CDL-A required) for local/regional routes within Texas and surrounding states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time effectively to meet tight delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of recent commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety standards
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to start immediately upon offer
