Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local and regional deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper material handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Navigate Milwaukee metro area and surrounding regions proficiently
- Maintain clean driving record and report maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license (Class A or B) with current endorsements
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Wisconsin roadways and traffic laws
- Basic mechanical aptitude for vehicle troubleshooting
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly during loading/unloading
