Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Adhere strictly to federal/state regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat materials handling preferred
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization knowledge
- Physical capability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend schedules
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
