Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and goods within designated routes
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and delays
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area
- Experience with route optimization apps (e.g., Google Maps, Waze)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking
- Pass background check and drug screening
