Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in and around the Chicago metropolitan area.
- Load and unload cargo onto delivery vehicles, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing items.
- Follow assigned routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers during the delivery process.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Handle cash and digital payments accurately and resolve any customer inquiries.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems is a plus.
