Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Chicago metro area efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Ensure the safe handling of all packages, maintaining high standards of care and accuracy during loading and unloading.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and roadworthy.
- Update delivery status via mobile application in real-time.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Proficiency with mobile devices and navigation software.
- Reliable transportation to and from the distribution center.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and flexible shifts.
