Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations across the Atlanta metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our proprietary tracking system and mobile app
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Adhere to all traffic regulations, company policies, and safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and maintain tight schedules
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and verify package integrity upon delivery
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience with commercial vehicles
- Ability to operate standard transmission vehicles and navigate GPS systems
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by company policy
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CDL preferred but not mandatory
