Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Plan optimal routes using GPS technology while meeting strict delivery deadlines
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and securement procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Familiarity with hazmat materials handling (certification preferred)
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and route navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must be available for flexible schedules including nights/weekends
