Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are handled with care and accounted for using handheld scanners.
- Provide top-tier customer service by interacting professionally with clients during drop-offs and pick-ups.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, mileage, and vehicle condition through our digital fleet management system.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a secure working environment for everyone.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks, such as checking tire pressure and fuel levels, before and after shifts.
- Resolve delivery issues independently, such as finding alternative addresses or managing returns.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class B or Commercial License preferred but not required for entry-level).
- Good driving record with no major traffic violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-100 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy for using handheld delivery devices and GPS navigation systems.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with the public.
- Reliable transportation to get to and from the warehouse.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
