Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver freight across the Austin metro area and beyond.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper handling techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with DOT hours of service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to company safety policies and traffic laws at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL (or ability to obtain one through our training program).
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic English skills for reading maps, signs, and communicating with the team.
