Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods across Indianapolis
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Ability to work independently and in variable weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery experience preferred but not required
