Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial locations in New York City.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, adhering to weight restrictions and safety protocols.
- Verify addresses and ensure correct delivery of items using handheld technology.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
- Complete daily delivery logs and paperwork accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate traffic and routes efficiently.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and GPS navigation apps.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
