Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses in Austin and surrounding areas.
- Unload packages with care, ensuring they are not damaged during transit.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, handling package inquiries and signatures.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to maintain a clean driving record.
- Utilize handheld devices for accurate route planning and delivery logging.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and digital transactions.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
