Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated delivery points in and around New Orleans.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies while driving.
- Ensure the proper handling and care of all customer packages to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with customers, including residential and business deliveries.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and receipts, accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License (Class D or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and tracking apps.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
