Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently, ensuring all items are accounted for before departure.
- Drive delivery vehicle to designated customer locations within the assigned route in Columbus and surrounding areas.
- Interact professionally with customers, maintaining a positive and helpful attitude at every stop.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
- Use handheld devices to manage delivery logs, times, and customer signatures accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) required with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Reliable transportation to get to and from the designated warehouse location.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
