Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (53' dry van, reefer, flatbed) to transport goods
- Perform pre-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS and communicate with dispatch
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and techniques
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Collaborate with logistics team for on-time deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of hazmat regulations (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible to work weekends and overnight shifts
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
