Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Plan optimal routes for on-time delivery while adapting to weather/traffic conditions
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Familiarity with Hazmat/Tank endorsements preferred (training provided)
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
