Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout Pennsylvania and neighboring states
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate driving logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and local traffic laws
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and route adjustments
- Maintain clean driving record and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Complete delivery paperwork with precision and timeliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and regional routes
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and operate loading equipment
