Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods on assigned routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and optimize routes
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Report mechanical issues and vehicle maintenance requirements promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
