Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) across designated routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocolsConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Ensure timely and secure delivery of freight to clients
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of recent CDL driving experience
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Detroit metro area and surrounding routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and overnight stays
