Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on Miami and Illinois routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring all safety protocols are met.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic and safety laws.
- Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding traffic conditions and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required.
- Must be at least 21 years old (DOT requirement).
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and DOT regulations.
- Must be willing to travel to Illinois as needed.
