Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for regional freight delivery
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and digital vehicle maintenance reporting
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Optimize delivery routes using our proprietary GPS tracking system
- Handle specialized freight (temperature-controlled, hazmat-certified available)
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service at client delivery points
- Participate in monthly safety training and certification updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Familiarity with Boston metro area and New England corridors
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and fleet management software
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
