Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students on designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Enforce bus safety protocols and student discipline
- Maintain accurate attendance and route logs
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Adapt to route changes and weather conditions
- Report maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C CDL with School Bus endorsement
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Child safety certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs (emergency equipment)
- No major moving violations in 3 years
