Responsibilities
- Perform safe and efficient delivery of packages to residential and commercial locations throughout the San Jose area.
- Utilize handheld scanners and mobile applications to update delivery status in real-time.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Handle package handling with extreme care to ensure items arrive undamaged.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing our brand to customers.
- Collect payments and handle cash handling procedures accurately and securely.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or recent at-fault accidents).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends if required.
- Proof of auto insurance and current vehicle registration.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
