Responsibilities
- Safe Transport: Load, unload, and transport packages efficiently and safely to designated residential and business addresses.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction, handle complaints gracefully, and verify delivery details.
- Route Management: Utilize GPS and navigation tools to optimize delivery routes and adhere to strict time windows.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and electronic paperwork in compliance with company policies.
- Adherence to Rules: Strictly follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving standards at all times.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, delivery, or courier services is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Skills: Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Technology: Comfortable using handheld scanners, tablets, and navigation apps.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
