Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, pharmaceuticals, and lab supplies between hospitals, clinics, and labs
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive shipments using specialized equipment
- Complete accurate documentation and chain-of-custody forms for all deliveries
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Perform vehicle safety checks and coordinate with dispatch for optimized routing
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile tracking system
- Assist with inventory management and medical supply replenishment
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs
- Basic familiarity with medical terminology preferred but not required
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency with mobile technology and GPS navigation
