Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for freight transport across designated routes
- Inspect and maintain truck/trailer mechanical conditions pre/post-trip
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time route adjustments and delivery timelines
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts as needed
- Knowledge of Memphis metro area routes preferred
