Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A dump trucks for material transport and construction site deliveries
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations at all times
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for efficient route planning
- Secure and unload materials at designated locations using proper equipment
- Document delivery reports and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Assist in basic troubleshooting of mechanical issues and coordinate repairs
- Represent company values through professional conduct and customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating dump trucks or heavy haulers
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Tampa Bay area routes and construction sites preferred
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and load securement
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation to reporting locations
