Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely on various job sites throughout Jacksonville and Duval County.
- Load and unload materials (soil, gravel, asphalt) using forklifts or loaders.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors.
- Ensure cargo is securely fastened and adheres to DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience driving dump trucks or heavy construction equipment.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of handling the demands of the job (lifting, climbing, bending).
- Strong knowledge of DOT safety regulations.
