Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between Houston and regional distribution centers
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading processes
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage route optimization to ensure timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Texas highway systems preferred
