Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport on construction sites
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Navigate challenging Alaskan terrain and weather conditions
- Maintain clean and organized worksite compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Alaska DOT and federal transportation regulations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality in harsh weather conditions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
