Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy machinery for material transport
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload construction materials at job sites with precision
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain clean equipment and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Support emergency response operations during weather events
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with South Texas terrain and construction sites
- Basic equipment maintenance knowledge
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexibility for weekend/evening shifts
- HAZMAT certification preferred
