Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently at construction sites and material yards
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance
- Load/unload materials including gravel, sand, asphalt, and demolition debris
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for timely deliveries
- Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Represent the company professionally with clients and partners
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (Class C minimum)
- Ability to obtain CDL Class A/B within 90 days of hire
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Basic math skills for load calculations and documentation
- Reliable transportation to our training facility
- No major moving violations in the past 3 years
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
