Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport at construction sites and industrial facilities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Coordinate with site supervisors and dispatch teams for efficient route planning
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck driving experience
- Ability to pass mandatory drug screening and background check
- Strong knowledge of San Jose Bay Area roadways and construction zones
- Physical ability to climb in/out of equipment and perform manual labor
- DOT medical certification and current medical card
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and flexible shifts
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
