Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and related heavy machinery on construction sites and haul routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all transport activities
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and Alaska-specific safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors to optimize delivery schedules and efficiency
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report major issues promptly
- Represent our company with professionalism while interacting with clients and team members
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy equipment
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Anchorage roadways and Alaska weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Must be able to pass background check
