Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport freight to designated destinations.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts, ensuring items are secured properly.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and vehicle mileage records.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve delivery issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to read maps or use GPS navigation systems.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions.
