Job Overview:
As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company, ensuring our products reach customers safely and on time. You will navigate city routes efficiently and provide outstanding customer service at every stop.
Responsibilities
- Execute timely and accurate deliveries of packages and freight to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring items are not damaged during transit.
- Verify and record delivery information, such as amounts and quantities, and obtain customer signatures.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Reliable personal vehicle (or access to a company vehicle).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software.
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
