Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring packages are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, including accepting signatures and providing excellent service.
- Navigate complex routes efficiently using GPS and mapping software.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and change.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable smartphone with data capabilities for route tracking.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the US.
