Responsibilities
- Safely Deliver: Transport goods to residential and commercial locations efficiently and safely.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and handling complaints with a smile.
- Vehicle Care: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle.
- Time Management: Adhere strictly to delivery schedules to ensure timely service.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and electronic paperwork.
- Unload Goods: Safely handle packages of varying sizes, including heavy items.
Qualifications
- Valid License: A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Technology: Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for navigation and app-based tasks.
- Experience: Previous delivery or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Availability: Ability to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings as needed.
