Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or retail goods to customers within designated timeframes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks before/after shifts
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to minimize fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with warehouse duties including sorting, loading, and unloading when needed
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in various weather conditions
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Reliable personal vehicle or willingness to use company-provided vehicle
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be available for flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
