Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods across Los Angeles County
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and adjust routes dynamically
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and handle packages in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles streets and metropolitan area
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps and communication
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment)
